Raphael has just bought toothpaste

According to an article on Ecrans.fr, the famous social network utility Facebook (I know, I'm a big fan of it) has just decided to implement advertisement in the website. So let me sum up what's new:
- some well-known (or not) companies can create their own profile page, groups, events etc.;
- you can become a "fan" of these companies (woohoo!);
- you can be targeted by them in function of the information you put on your profile page;
- if you talk about a product or a brand on Facebook, all the friends will know it and so you'll do some advertisement for the company;
- if you buy some goods on third-party websites such as eBay, your contacts will be informed of it.

Even if I'm quite happy that Facebook keeps being more and more popular, I'm a little bit disappointed by the fact that companies have access to my information and can more easily target me.

My advice would be to put least information on your profile.
By the way, I want to remind you that Microsoft put more than 200 million dollars in Facebook a few weeks ago, so advertisement had to come up...
